A terms page can change after you register, claim a promotion or request a withdrawal. The safest response is not to assume the newest wording explains the old transaction. Record the effective date, save the relevant version and ask support which rule was applied to your account.

Start with the date, not the headline
Look for an effective date, last-updated line or version label near the top of the terms. A page that only says “updated” without saying when is difficult to use as an account record.
Write down when you deposited, opted in, placed the qualifying bet or requested the withdrawal. Those events give you a timeline against which the operator can explain a change.
- Record the page URL and your local time.
- Save the specific promotion or cashier terms, not only the homepage.
- Keep a copy without exposing your password, PIN or full identity document.
Separate rules that affect different events
A change to a bonus rule may not be the same as a change to payment ownership or withdrawal review. Read the paragraph that names the event in question instead of treating the entire terms page as one rule.
If a page links to a separate promotion, privacy or payment policy, open that document too. The most useful record says which document and section support gave you.
| Event | What to compare | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit or opt-in | Offer name, code and effective date | Which version was active when I opted in? |
| Wagering | Contribution, excluded games and max bet | Which rule was used in the calculation? |
| Withdrawal | Verification, ownership and limits | What exact condition is still outstanding? |
Ask for a written explanation
Use the operator’s authenticated support route and quote the section title rather than arguing from a screenshot. Ask for the effective date and the account event that triggered the rule. Our withdrawal timeline checklist shows how to keep a support record readable.
Do not send additional money to test which terms apply. If support cannot identify the rule or keeps changing the explanation, pause the transaction and keep the evidence for the payment provider or an appropriate official channel.
- One ticket for one issue.
- Exact amount, currency and timestamp.
- No OTP, PIN or recovery code in the ticket.
When to stop relying on the page
If the terms have no effective date, the linked document is missing or the answer conflicts with the text shown in your account, stop before making another deposit. Read the site’s Terms of Service and casino selection checks, then request clarification through an official route.
