A date without a time zone is not a complete expiry instruction. Promotions may show a local date, a server time, or a countdown that changes when you travel. Before you rely on an offer, identify the exact cut-off and whether claiming requires a separate action.

Find the time zone in the terms
Look for the time zone, server-time note and whether the expiry is inclusive or exclusive. A countdown is useful for orientation but the written terms should be the reference you save.
If a page only says “ends today”, ask support for the exact deadline before making a deposit. Keep the answer with the promotion URL and the date you checked.
- Date and clock time.
- Named time zone or server time.
- Whether the cut-off is inclusive.
- Any claim or code requirement.
Separate deposit, play and claim deadlines
Some promotions have one deadline for funding, another for wagering and a third for claiming or withdrawing. Finishing one step before midnight does not prove the next step remains eligible.
Build three lines in your record and use the earliest relevant cut-off for your own decision. Do not rush into a deposit because a countdown is nearly finished.
| Deadline | Question |
|---|---|
| Deposit | When must the qualifying funds arrive? |
| Play or turnover | When must eligible activity be completed? |
| Claim or cashout | What action must be taken before the final time? |
Save the page as evidence
Record the displayed terms, time zone and the exact page address. A screenshot should show the relevant wording and date without exposing account secrets. If the page changes, your record shows what you saw when deciding.
Use the PAGCOR verification guide to confirm you are on the intended domain before entering payment details. Keep the withdrawal timeline if a deadline later affects a cashout.
- Timestamp in your local time.
- Timestamp converted to the stated time zone.
- Promotion version and support answer.
If the cut-off is disputed
Ask support to identify the time zone and the rule that was applied. Keep the ticket number, terms and payment reference together. Do not pay an extra fee or share an OTP to “extend” a promotion.
Method and limits: this is a time-reading checklist, not a guarantee that an offer remains available. Terms and clocks can change. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over and is not an income source.
