Sports betting screens can show several statuses that look similar when a match changes. A void, a settled ticket and a cash-out offer are not interchangeable. Identify the status first, then read the rule that controls the balance.

The three outcomes in plain language
A void generally means the operator has cancelled a selection under its rules; the exact balance effect depends on the ticket type. A settlement records an official result. Cash out is an offer or action that closes a ticket before the event or market is fully settled, when the operator provides it.
Do not infer an outcome from a promotional message or a market disappearing. Open the ticket history and record the status, rule reference and time.
| Status | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Void | Which selection or market was cancelled and how the ticket rule applies |
| Settled | Which official result and odds were used |
| Cash out | Whether the offer was accepted and the confirmation reference |
Build a ticket record
Save the ticket number, selections, odds or price shown, stake, time, market, status and any official result link provided by the operator. Keep a screenshot free of account credentials.
If a parlay is involved, do not assume one void leg has the same effect as a single bet. Use the operator’s combination rule.
- Ticket and market.
- Status wording.
- Confirmation or settlement time.
- Rule version or help-page link.
Ask support one precise question
A good question identifies the ticket and asks which rule produced the current status. For example: “Please confirm whether ticket X was voided, settled or cashed out, and point me to the rule applied.” Avoid sending multiple guesses in one message.

- Use the official support route.
- Keep the reference and reply time.
- Do not pay a release fee.
Limits and responsible use
A status explanation is not a promise of profit or a reason to chase a result with another bet. If the ticket history and balance conflict, pause and preserve the evidence.
Method and limits: sports rules, provider results and cash-out availability can change. This article is a terminology and record-keeping guide, not a bet recommendation. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over and is not income.
